Recent analyses of the APK file from the beta version 13.5 of Android Auto have uncovered elements suggesting the upcoming integration of Gemini. Notably, a new microphone icon with gradient colors, emblematic of AI, was discovered. ccompanied by the message "Ask Gemini" at the bottom of the screen. Although the assistant is not yet functional, these clues indicate an imminent arrival of Gemini on Google's automotive platform.

Enhanced features for assisted driving

The integration of Gemini promises to go beyond the current capabilities of Google Assistant. With improved natural language understanding, drivers will be able to interact more intuitively with their vehicle. For example, Gemini could analyze real-time traffic conditions.
