AI Summit: A Week Packed with AI Events

The AI Action Week features several key moments:

Scientific Days (February 6-7). Organized at the Polytechnic Institute of Paris, these days brought together researchers and academics to discuss the latest advancements in AI.

AI Action Summit (February 10-11). Business Day (February 11). Held at Station F, this day is dedicated to economic stakeholders and highlights the opportunities AI offers for business development and transformation. Bpifrance, France Digitale, Numeum, and other partners are also participating.

Distinction Between the AI Action Week and the AI Action Summit

The AI Action Week (February 6-11) includes various events exploring the multifaceted aspects of AI, from scientific to cultural and economic. It serves as the precursor to the AI Action Summit (February 10-11), which is the high-level international conference focusing on defining strategies and policies for ethical and responsible AI.

Objectives of the AI Action Summit

The summit participants aim to:

• Make AI accessible to all in an independent, safe, and reliable manner.
• Develop environmentally responsible AI.
• Establish an effective and inclusive global AI governance framework.

Discussions will center on five main topics:

France and India Co-Chair the Summit

Co-chaired by France and India, the summit reflects the shared commitment of both nations to promote ethical and inclusive AI. This collaboration aims to strengthen international ties and encourage a collective approach to the challenges posed by AI.

Prince of Persia and Caravan SandWitch Lead the Nominations

The two games dominating the nominations this year are Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown by Ubisoft and Caravan SandWitch by independent studio Plane Toast, each with four nominations. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, praised for its Metroidvania-inspired gameplay, is nominated for several major awards, including Best Video Game and Best Game Design. Caravan SandWitch, with its colorful universe inspired by Provence, stands out in categories like Best Independent Game and Best First Video Game.

Diverse Categories to Celebrate Innovation

The Pégases 2025 will recognize a total of 16 categories, ranging from Visual Excellence to Best Technological Innovation, and including Excellence in Narrative and Best Sound Universe. Games like The Operator, inspired by The X-Files, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, nominated for Visual Excellence and Best Technological Innovation, are also in the running. Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, developed by Don’t Nod, competes for Excellence in Narrative.
